This is is one of my favourites. I had always wanted to make a Yemayá Mayelewo mazo and the person that asked me to make it gave me free reign. I particularly like the combination of cobalt blue, turquoise green and "soap" (alabaster) beads. I used a lot of 12mm red coral as I wanted it to reflect the wealth and prestige that this avatar or camino or Yemayá is known for. I also made a matching ide and necklace.
